and integrity”, said Douglas Adams. Likewise, Mahatma Gandhi wrote, “for me,
the road to salvation (Liberation) lies through incessant toil in the service
of my country and of humanity. I am endeavoring to see God through service to
humanity”. For Sama'ila Husaini Moriki, service to humanity is fundamental to
living. No wonder his success measures those of the greatest achievers.
He was born in the first month of
1961 in Kwangwami Moriki, Zurmi Local Government of Zamfara State, Nigeria and
he is married with children.
Sama'ila Husaini Moriki (GARKUWAN
MORIKI, SARDAUNAB KWANGWAMI) began formal education in 1969 at the J.N.I Primary
School Moriki where he obtained his primary school certificate in 1975, and
then proceeded to Government secondary school Shinkafi and obtained a Secondary
School Certificate in 1980. His love for education led him to Ahmadu Bello
University, Zaria (1986-1988) where he obtained a Diploma in Local Government
Account and Administration, and further to Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto
(1994) for an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance, and a Higher Diploma
in Accounting and Finance (1998). As a Nigerian, education for him is complete
when you capture the diversity therein – perhaps he needed to complete his
Nigerianness by schooling beyond his native home. He obtained a professional
certificate and training as an Financial Administrator from Chartered Institute
of Administration (CIA) Lagos in 2004, and attended the Imo state University
Owerri (ICEP/IMSU) from 2007 to 2010 where he obtained a B.Sc. in Management.
His expertise shoulders on his
qualifications. He is a member of Certified International Project Managers,
Member of the Islamic Institute of Accounting and Finance, Nigeria (IIAF),
Fellow Certified Financial Analyst of Nigeria (FCFA), Associate Chartered
Institute of Administration (ACIA), Member Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM)
where he is the Chairman of the Zamfara state chapter, Fellow Institute of
Chartered Management Auditors (FICMA), Council Member Institute of Chartered
Management Auditors (FICMA), and Member Institute of Management Consultant
(MIMC). He is a Licensed Chartered Administrator (CIA), an Accredited
Management Trainer - Centre for Management Development (CMD), Lagos, Fellow
Institute of Management Consultant (FIMC), and Fellow African Centre for Supply
Chain (FACSC).Fellow National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools
(FNAPPS), Garkuwan Moriki, Sardaunan Kwangwmi is the Zamfara State Chairman of
National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Zamfara State
Chairman of Association of Proprietors of Private Tertiary Institution Schools
(APPTI) He has authored several articles, and spoken at various conferences.
With a rich work experience from 1981
where he started as Accountant Clerk, Cashier, Director Finance and Supplies in
Various Local Government in Zamfara State,
rising like the Phoenix, he served as Assistant Director Monitoring and
Inspectorate, Deputy Director Monitoring and Inspectorate, and Director
Planning Research and Statistic Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy
Affairs Zamfara State, happily retired from the civil service after attaining
the 35 years of active Service with his great Country. Humbly after the
retirement within just a month, His
Excellency the State Executive Governor Hon, (DR) Abdulazeez Abubakar Yari
(Shatiman Zamfara) Chairman Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) find him to be
retired but not tired and bring him back to serve his dear state as Director
General at the Directorate of Rural Water Supply. Now happily enjoin my
businesses as follows:- Samkwang Science International Academy, (SSIA), Gusau
Business School Ltd (GBS), Samkwang School of Health Science and Technology
(SSHST) Gusau, Promoter of Propose Gusau University by Grace of God, Promoter
Samkwang Qur’anic Memorization and Islamic Education. To demonstrate his stout
heartedness, he has been Honored with the Madrasatul Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gummi
Moriki Certificate of Honor award, the American Biographical Institute Man of
the Year Representing Nigeria in 2009, and the Lead Times African Magazine,
Grand African Leadership Star Award for Accountability Integrity, Transparency
and Service Delivery. Bestowed upon the administrative herald is the
traditional title of Garkuwan Moriki. Sardaunan Kwangwami.
Samaila Husaini Moriki an
entrepreneur striving to bring professionalism to his people, which further
demonstrate a unique trait of loyalty, professionalism, and integrity. He has
indeed earned a success based on service to others, not at the expense of
others.
